St. Francis de Sales Church at 601 15th. Ave. North, Moorhead, MN 56560 US - Family Formation

Family Formation is our program for children PreK - 5th grade and their families.  Family Formation classes are held one Wednesday each month (usually the first Wednesday of the month). 

We begin our evening with a Family Supper at 5:15pm put on by various parents each month.  This is a great way to fellowship with other parents of younger children.  Our classes begin at 6:00pm and last until 7:30pm.  After a short Praise & Worship time, the students are dismissed to their classrooms for lessons with their peers.  Parents meet in the church proper to receive formation from Fr. Mike.  What a fantastic way to increase our knowledge of our own faith as parents! 

Families are also given a home packet with one lesson for each of the remaining weeks in the month to be done at home, helping our parents be the first teachers of the Catholic Faith to their children.  The packets are walked through each month after Fr. Mike's lesson.

All families with younger children are invited and encouraged to join us in helping form our children ini the ways of faith!  Any adult in the parish is also welcome to attend Fr. Mike's lessons as we look to our own formation as Catholic adults and mentors.
